RESTAURANTS AND EATING-HOUSES BY-LAWS.

1. No building or portion thereof may be used as a restaurant or eating-house without a licence issued by the Urban Council. Such license shall be in addition to any licence issued under the Liquors Ordinance, 1931.

2. Any person desirous of obtaining such licence shall make application to the Council by means of a properly filled-in form, for which purpose blank forms can be obtained from the Secretary thereof at his office. Every such person shall also lodge a plan of the premises, if so required.

3. All such licences shall expire on the 30th day of June next after the day of the date thereof.

4. The following fees are hereby prescribed and shall be paid to the Secretary in advance

5. Every such licence shall be conditional on compliance with these by-laws so far as they are applicable to the licence in question. Breach of any relevant by-law will render the licence liable to can- cellation by the Council.

6. Every licensee of an eating-house shall cause to be legibly painted or fixed, and shall keep so painted or fixed, on his premises, in a conspicuous place, in letters at least four inches long, his name followed by the words 'Licensed Eating-house', together with the number of his licence.
